Jennifer C. Loftus is a Founding Partner of and National Director for Astron Solutions. Her primary areas of expertise are the design, administration, and analysis of customized market surveys, employee opinion surveys, and exit interview systems. Jennifer also focuses on the development, design, and implementation of base pay compensation systems, primarily as they impact healthcare, non-profit, and small to moderate sized organizations. Jennifer also has extensive experience in the creation of technology-based solutions to human resource issues.
Jennifer has 27 years of compensation and Human Resources generalist experience. Prior to Astron, Jennifer was an Associate Consultant with the Metro New York Rewards consulting practice of the Hay Group, a worldwide leader in compensation consulting services. In addition to the Hay Group, Jennifer garnered experience at organizations including Parsons Brinckerhoff, Eagle Electric Manufacturing Company, Pace University, and Harcourt General. Her past experience has focused on total cash compensation management, FLSA compliance, performance management design, ADP payroll, training, human resource process automation, and HRIS improvement.
Jennifer is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and WorldatWork. She serves on the WorldatWork Local Network Expert Council, previously as Chair and the West Region representative. She is also a member of New York City SHRM (formerly HR/NY) and the New York Compensation Association. Jennifer holds the positions of NYC SHRM Past President and Certification Committee Co-Chair. She has been a volunteer article reviewer for WorldatWork & SHRM. Jennifer is a subject matter expert to the SHRM Learning System and a SHRM instructor. Jennifer is an alumna of SHRM’s Total Rewards Special Expertise Panel and SHRM’s Workplace Flexibility Advisory Committee.
Jennifer is a sought-after speaker on topics regarding employee retention strategies, labor market trends, and human resource automation. She has appeared on Cold Pizza, ESPN2’s morning show, CBS2 News, New York City’s CBS affiliate, BusinessWeek TV: Money Talk, a nationally syndicated program on ABC, and WNET, New York City’s PBS affiliate, on The Employment Channel. Jennifer has presented at SHRM, ASHHRA, CUPA-HR, and Non-Profit HR Solutions conferences in addition to various regional and local HR groups throughout the United States.

She has served as a regular columnist with The Work Style Magazine. Jennifer has an MBA in Human Resource Management with highest honors from Pace University and a BS in Accounting summa cum laude from Rutgers University. The Pace University chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon awarded Jennifer the chapter’s first annual Alumni Achievement Award. She also served on Pace University’s Spirit of Pace Awards Dinner Committee.
Jennifer is an Adjunct Professor in Human Resources at Pace University and Nassau Community College. She also has been an Adjunct Associate Professor in Human Resources at Long Island University and a Human Resources subject matter expert / instructional designer / Adjunct Faculty with LIM College.
Jennifer received the 2014 Gotham Comedy Foundation’s Lifetime Ambassador of Laughter Award.
