Matthew Biagini is a Project and Marketing Assistant at Astron Solutions. He could be described as a “boomerang” of sorts; he previously worked with Astron nearly two decades ago, and then enjoyed a career predominantly as a performing artist and educator before returning to the Astron team.
Matt supports the firm on several fronts: as a compensation analyst focusing on market-based data projects (for both Executive and non-Executive positions), as one of the final proofreaders of Astron-branded products and content, as an assistant/consultant in the growing Astron Marketing department, and in other capacities as well. Matt brings a combination of a broad liberal arts-informed perspective and a relentlessly analytical mind to all of his work at Astron.
Over the years in between his employment at Astron, Matt has held a plethora of positions across a range of industries. He has at various points in his career been a classically trained professional stage actor (with a few screen credits to his name), an Executive Assistant to a music department VP at a leading film production company, an educator/teaching artist working at multiple K-12 private schools in New York City, and a premium test prep/academic tutor serving some of the most competitive public and private high schools in the nation. He also has experience in sales/customer service, having worked in that capacity for the retail division of one of the top global technology companies.
Matt is a member of SHRM and NYC SHRM. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts & Performance Studies from Brown University, as well as a Master of Fine Arts from the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University. Matt is a proud native Manhattanite and remains an avid consumer of (and specialist in) all things artistic.
